On the top floor of a small chalet in the Hameau des Aiguilles residence, our family apartment opens onto a south-west facing balcony with a clear view of the Aiguilles d'Arves. The slopes, the village shops and the ski school are 250 metres away. The lake and the riding club are a few minutes on foot. We rent it all year round.
Two seasons, two very different stays
Albiez is not the same place in winter and in the warmer months. Pick yours.
Winter on the slopes
40 km of pistes between 1,500 and 2,060 m, the foot of the slopes 250 metres away with the ski school and the kids' club, a large ski locker on the landing and a raclette waiting when you get back.

Au départ, le logement nous a paru plus petit que prévu, mais à l'usage il s'est avéré très fonctionnel pour 4 personnes adultes ou presque. La vue du balcon est magnifique. Bien situé : nous n'avons pas eu besoin de notre véhicule pendant les 5 jours de notre présence, activités de baignade et de rando à proximité. Restaurant, bar et supérette proposant de bons produits à un prix raisonnable ont permis d'assurer le quotidien sans problème. La résidence est calme et nous n'avons croisé que des gens sympathiques. Alexandre, même à distance, a toujours été prévenant et réactif. Je recommande ce logement d'un très bon rapport qualité-prix dans un environnement aussi paisible qu'agréable.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour avec ma famille, très agréable et sympa. Le village au top, il y a des activités proposées et un lac en bas du logement très reposant, et on peut se promener. Une bonne communication avec Alexandre, logement au top pour 3 personnes ou plus, propre et bien équipé. Je recommande d'été comme d'hiver aussi 100 %. Merci Alexandre 😊

Appartement confortable, bien agencé et bien équipé. Échanges très faciles et agréables avec Alexandre, toujours très réactif. Nous avons bien profité du balcon avec une vue magnifique sur les Aiguilles d'Arves. Résidence calme, proche des petits commerces de la station et du lac pour la baignade. Randonnées possibles au départ du chalet. Les enfants ont également apprécié les livres et jeux de société disponibles.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument parfait chez Alexandre. Le logement est très bien équipé, en particulier pour les familles : entre matériel de puériculture, jeux et livres pour tous les âges et luges, il y avait de quoi faire. Avec une vue exceptionnelle. L'emplacement est idéal pour accéder aux pistes et aux cours ESF. Alexandre est un hôte réactif et accueillant. Nous recommandons chaudement et reviendrons avec plaisir l'année prochaine :)

There are around fifty steps between the car park and the apartment. That is the price of the view — but better to know before you book.

What about the shoulder season?
We also rent outside the busy months, when the resort goes quiet again. It is the right time for hiking, cycling, snowshoeing, or simply enjoying the view without meeting anyone — usually at the best rate of the year. To be straight about it: out of season the lifts are closed, and so are some of the village shops and restaurants, though the grocery stays open. Guests who come for the quiet are rarely disappointed, but it is worth knowing before you book.
Outside the seasons, the apartment is also open to home exchange on HomeExchange, for GuestPoints rather than rent. A good way to discover the Maurienne if you are a member yourself.
